LESSON PLANS: GRADES K-8

surrounded by science educator toolkit

2/25/2016

The National Environmental Education Foundation offers the Surrounded by Science Educator Toolkit, which provides links to lesson plans and STEM-related activities from other organizations. Lesson plans for grades K-12 are grouped by the following categories:
  • At Home (pollinators)
  • In the Neighborhood (wildlife habitat)
  • In Your Region (watersheds)
  • In the World (weather and climate)
Links to information about citizen science projects are included as well.

Lessons plans were chosen for the Toolkit from the Center for Ecoliteracy, Creek Freaks, NASA, the National Wildlife Federation, the USDA Forest Service, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, WGBH, and other organizations.
